Student Council

The School Council plays an important role in giving pupils a voice and helping shape school life. Made up of elected representatives from each class, the council meets regularly to share ideas, discuss issues, and work on projects that make our school an even better place to learn and grow. From organising events to suggesting improvements, the council encourages teamwork, responsibility, and active citizenship. It’s a great way for children to develop confidence and leadership skills while making a real difference in their school community.

Recently, our Eco Council and School Council teamed up for an exciting visit to Stormont, the seat of Northern Ireland’s government. The pupils had the opportunity to explore the historic building, learn about how decisions are made, and see first-hand the important work our elected council members do to represent their communities. It was a fantastic experience that helped our children understand democracy in action and inspired them to think about how they can make a positive difference in our own school and beyond.
