Our School day…

The School Day begins at 8:45am. At this time all pupils should be in school ready to start their learning. We kindly ask parents not to leave children unaccompanied in the school grounds before this time.

If you need to leave your child to school at an earlier time we have a Breakfast Club from 7.45am every morning for only £3.00 per day.  All pupils are welcome to attend.

Please note Primary 1 and 2 finish at 2.00pm every day.  Primary 3 also finish at 2.00pm except on Tuesday and Thursday when they finish at 2.50pm.

We currently have a whole school weekly Zoom assembly so that all the pupils and staff are kept up to date with in school activities.

Wrap Around Care

2-to-3 Club runs from 2:00pm-3pm for P1, P2 and P3 children. They will be welcomed by our classroom assistants, who organise various activities. The cost for this is £3.50

The Afternoon Club runs from 3pm-4.00pm and 4.00pm-5.00pm for P1 to P7 children. The cost for this £5 per hour.

Forms are sent home every 4 weeks and booking is available via the Parentmail app. Forms should be returned to school to allow Mrs Graham our After schools co-ordinator to organise staff.

Morning Break

Breaktime begins at 10:30am each day and lasts for 15 minutes. The breaks are currently split to ensure the safety of class bubbles.

This is a chance for all our pupils to have a healthy snack  e.g. an apple, banana, grapes etc.

We ask all parents to be mindful that Lisnasharragh Primary is a 'nut-free' zone.  Please ensure you do not use nut products as part of packed lunches or mid-morning snacks

lunchtime

Due to Covid 19 we have 2 separate lunch times to maintain the integrity of class bubbles. Primary 1,2, 6 & 7 begin eating their lunch at 12pm with children going outside from 12:30pm - 1pm.

Primary 3,4 & 5 pupils receive their lunch after their outside play time which lasts from 12pm-12:30pm.

How to notify us of an absence

Please register any absences via the Parental app. If you have not downloaded the app please contact Mrs Childs in the school office who will assist you in this process. This should be followed up by a brief explanatory note on return to school. We firmly believe that pupil attainment is directly linked to excellent attendance at school. All pupil absences must be accounted for. We strongly discourage Holidays taken in term time.
