Term 3 Shared Education (P5)

P5 enjoyed our final Shared Education programme meeting of the academic year with our friends from Cregagh and St. Bernards. Our theme this time was balancing. We spent lots of time in groups discussing balanced diets and balanced lifestyles, and how they benefit us. We then took advantage of the beautiful weather to enjoy some outdoor play, where our activities followed our balance theme. We had fun testing our balance across a range of activities, including egg and spoon races and races where we balanced hoops and beanbags on our heads.

Term 2 Shared Education (P5)

P5 got to meet again with our friends from Cregagh and St. Bernards as part of our Shared Education programme. This time we were thinking about our identity. We played lots of fun games which involved asking questions and finding out about our friends. After this, we designed t-shirts about what makes us individual. We discovered that we had some differences but also many similarities. We also discovered that many of us are fans of football and Galaxy Chocolate!

 Term 1 Shared Education (P5)

This year the children will be participating in the Shared Education program once more. This is where children from 3 local schools (Lisnasharragh, Cregagh and St. Bernards) will meet and complete a series of interactive lessons.

The focus for this term will be on PDMU (Personal Development and Mutual Understanding). The children will be completing tasks on ‘what makes me, me.’
